About Us

THREE GENERATIONS,SAME STANDARD

Back in 1956, our first generation got up and running as Erwin P. Friesen and Sons – a small-scale hauling and logging operation that supported local municipalities and construction projects. As we grew, we built on a foundation of reliability and hard work.

Lauren and Emily Friesen took over the business in 1984, officially establishing Friesen Hauling and growing into a trusted contractor. During this time, our services expanded to include excavation and site work, meeting the needs of a changing construction landscape.

By 2012, we’d evolved into full-service heavy civil construction, and in 2014 Chris Friesen stepped in as our third-generation owner. Today, he continues to lead the company – now Friesen Hauling & Excavation – while building on a legacy of integrity, innovation, and steady, purposeful growth.
